About the Office of Secretary of State

The Secretary of State’s primary goal is promoting transparency throughout the office. The three divisions within the office collect information and filings from businesses, voters and residents that promote commerce and information for the general public and law enforcement. These filings include everything from business incorporations, voter and campaign finance records, lobbyists disclosures and charity financials. The aim is to balance streamlined and efficient access for filers and users with user-friendly access to relevant data for the public and other stakeholders.
